Job Description
Strategy & Operations is an exciting opportunity to drive strategy and influence business growth in Japan's growing delivery industry.
You will work closely with a team that prioritizes rapid execution and balances deep analytical insights with innovative ideas, builds and manages relationships with internal stakeholders, and actively contributes to fostering a corporate culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies and merchant selection strategies in Japan
- Create a business plan for market growth
- Create dashboards to track sales performance
- Gather and analyze data for market expansion and provide insights into potential markets
- Identify areas for improvement by comparing data with competitors' data
- Work closely with all sales teams in Japan to support opportunity identification, data analysis, and market expansion
- Work closely with the Global Merchant Operations team to continuously build and improve selection intelligence
- Work closely with Finance and Strategic Planning teams to set appropriate quarterly goals and KPIs for key initiatives
Qualifications
Our humble expectations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, financial services, data analysis, operations, etc.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to organize information in a high-level manner to communicate key points to partners and internal stakeholders
- Extensive experience in project management and organizational operations, including building detailed project plans, trackers and dashboards, setting DRIs, and consistent follow-up to ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing and balancing revenue and profit oriented goals to drive P&L at the corporate level
- Ability to integrate data, make data-driven decisions, and balance quantitative measurement with intuitive action
- Excellent Excel skills and understanding of basic SQL.
